What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?
Not many institutions will distribute my media product because it doesn't have any big titles (famous actors etc) or suggestions that it is a good quality film. Institutions such as Disney, Fox, Paramount, Warner Brothers and Universal are all part of a oligopoly which are very hard to get your film featured with them and these are the manor production companies which get their film distributed by any media institutions. But I could distribute my film on many social networking sites, such as YouTube or Vimeo. Also these videos can be displayed on various websites to increase the popularity and increase the audience size.
